Fair Trials International Young Defenders Network Training Programme

Fair Trials International in collaboration with the Human Rights Law Centre at the University of Nottingham hosted a week-long training programme for young lawyers from across Europe. The programme aimed to support emerging human rights and fair trial defenders to promote a culture of respect for the defence of human rights within their own countries, thereby improving access to justice. Dr Deborah Schembri was one of the four young lawyers from Malta who attended the program.
